What exactly is the interpretation of the piece you posted?
it resembles each human as a part of a body,
and when one part got suffered, the other parts will be affected too. (Though it is difficult to interpret it exactly :-D)
So letting us see into your eyes makes you feel quite exposed and vulnerable? No worries. If you are most comfortable covering your beautiful peeps that is fine.
Women fall in love with men's eyes. Did you know that? Perhaps that is why so many of you hide them. When a man smiles and looks at us and really sees us, it feels like the sun is shining right out from his eyes and into our hearts. That is why we feel it a priority to see a man's eyes. And probably why we feel they are hiding something dubious if they do not show them. JMO
I am also impressed that you are well versed in the topic of persian poetry?

There are many beautiful Persian things as he mentioned. (but wait, how do you know about them?!)
Personally, I am very interested in our literature though the worst grade when I was at school was always "Persian Literature" ! :D
and well, the question that if it is easy/OK to go to Iran or not?
I would say it is 99% Safe, Okey and interesting, but
I really recommend you to ask the idea of a person who has been there.
I've seen many people in Europe who had traveled there and ,not surprisingly for me, they surprised alot about the situation and treatments there.
Thus all of you are most welcome to come to Iran...of course it would be better if I am in Iran since I am a good Couchsurfer.

And as far as ogling, I am not saying a stranger should come up to me and look deeply into my eyes, what kind of goofy statement is that?! I am talking about a man with whom I am having a relationship or am beginning a relationship. What woman on Earth would want to go out with a man on a date and not have him look at her?!
As far as profile pics go, it is a sign of hiding to not show your face, your whole face. But you can do what ever you want, of course. Just don't try to snow us with that bs.

i think the Govt's should pass a law to wear shades mandatorily. that will beef up the economy, provide more jobs. and more importantly help people keep their privacy!
