Leftists can't deal with the fact that guns save lives
Anti-liberty leftists are missing the point entirely when complaining that the Greenwood good Samaritan violated their nonsensical gun free massacre zone rules.Does anyone want to guess why the mass-murdering miscreant chose that place to make a name for himself? Could it be that like many other murderers, it chose a massacre zone, a place that deprives the innocent of their God-given right of self-defense?
For some strange reason, anti-liberty leftists think that silly little signs and codes of conduct that say "no weapons" are going to work, even though they've never worked before.
The latest revelation is that the good Samaritan "violated" the sacred massacre zone rules of the mall, entirely missing the point that the mass murderer also violated that rule. Given that a good guy with a gun stopped this crime in progress, does anyone want to guess how long this story is going to stick around? You can almost track the coverage in real time on sites like Memeorandum, "an auto-generated summary of the stories that US political commentators are discussing online right now." Had this been the proper kind of crisis, the coverage would be expanding to no end.

The nation's socialist media precisely calculate their coverage based on how much they can get political gain out of someone else's pain. You can bet they were thrilled that this occurred — especially with the sudden appearance of a new generic ban on weapons:

the 2A was meant as a fail safe for the people against the government. demonrats especially know this and that's why they try fighting so hard to take them away from us. among some of the latest bills, are red flag laws which violate due process.
they don't care about any loss of life. they only care about how they can use it to their advantage.
The bit i don't understand is the fierce opposition to trying to keep guns out of the hands of the cracked, the demented, and the unfit.
That, to me, should be ALL sane Americans ranged on one side vs the lunatics on the other.
You are not defending the right of Americans to start massacres, I KNOW that. Yet the rage against any kind of controls means those guns still can reach the seriously unfit.

I know criminals often get weapons from victims who thought owning a gun was as good as knowing how to use a gun, sometimes it isn't enough. I know there is a thriving black market for weapons.
I know many law-abiding responsible gun-owning Americans are enraged and taking it personally that they will lose their guns - because there are so many out there who should never have been allowed within a mile of anything bigger than a catapult.
Just seems to me that both sides of the gun debate are busy hating each other when in fact they both agree 100% on stopping the mad and the bad getting their hands on weapons. Work together to limit access. It could work?.
