The Heartless United Kingdom
I must tell you that The United Kingdom's way of collecting debts is way off of the Charts ,They walk into someones house and demand payment for whatever it is that is owed by them ,And if they cannot come up with the payment or cannot make proper arrangements Whatever they have on the property that is of value is taken away. Here in the United States the system is totally opposite of the UK's way
I am truly happy that here in the USA we have a Heart for people that is contrary to the UK's way
There is a show in The Uk that's called
Can't pay? WE'LL TAKE IT AWAY
Watch It for yourself

You're spinning BS
Don't tell me people who don't make car payments & whom hide from companies so as to not pay don't have their vehicles repossessed
Same as when you're paying a mortgage or renting
Companies will come up with a payment plan
People who don't meet these payments and hide instead of getting in touch with companies will be evicted for nonpayment of rent. Or lose a home they have been paying off or have their vehicles confiscated & so on
Companies nor banks & landlords aren't in the business of giving freebies away

Really? How about bail jumpers, car/house enforcement officers?
In the UK we have debt collectors who try every way possible to help those who get into debt, if that fails then the debt is handed over to a bailif who has the power to seize goods to the value of the debt.
In the US you have enforcement officers who have exactly the same power as the UK bailifs.
Just because a TV prog makes a series doesn't mean it happens to everyone, the TV series just embellishes the worst cases over several years.
Very dangerous to create prejudices from a convoluted TV show
