Walking away from toxic relationship does not mean you don't love or care for that person it means you love yourself first and you care for yourself first. The first person that matters in this life is you.This is called self care and self love

Now self love can mean many different things to individuals, and the whole mindfulness thing for some reason springs to mind. And I often wondered when people become all out the self, consumed by the self, where do they go from there?

we could venture down many roads with what's right/wrong regarding self love but going with where she may be coming from ... you don't walk away and give up on someone you love.
It's possible to fall out of love with someone without knowing it and the best way of knowing that is when you care less about them and more about your own happiness... JMO
