Daily Motivation

Last night, I smashed out a solid three-hour workout, combining some serious treadmill action with a bit of yoga. No idea how I'm still kickin' after that, The holiday season went a bit overboard on the eating front, so now I'm on a mission to shed those extra kilos. Gotta do it, though – the job demands me to be in top-notch physical shape, and I'm gunning for a set of ripper abs. Time to sweat it out and get back in the game! I'm starting my reading challenge for the year. I'm excited to dive into some books. Do you have any recommendations or favourite genres? I'm looking forward to exploring new reads and reaching my reading goals this year!kiss kiss

Believe it or not, I'm probably one of the safest people you could be with (no joke, back in the drug days, the girls used to like coming to my house because I never tried anything with them). I just don't care anymore, any foolish thought that comes in my mind usually ends up being spoken laugh

Hej D!

I recommend the books All the light we cannot see, The girl on the train, Klara and the sun, The Kindest Lie and Summerwater, to start with.
Hi there! thanks for the recos I have read The girl on the train and DNF all the light we cannot see I reckon it's not right up my alley.
Two more books I enjoyed back in the day was Lord Of The Flies, and To Kill A Mockingbird. You may have already read those but if not, they are both good reads with really good authors.
I have read To Kill A Mickingbird during banned month book in Goodreads!
I loved that book and I'm not a reader, not at all. Lord of the flies is a good read too, explores our darker side from the point of view of kids.
I'm gonna check it out. THE LORD OF FLIES( you really love things that always up in the air).rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing like Fly and Highrolling on the floor laughing
My head is floating up high somewhere at the moment laugh
Outlander, the books are worth reading and the tv series is more worth watching. It is because I like the firm butt exposure of Jamie's character. And the history incorporated in the storyline of course.
it's a big book, I have this book on my shelves for ages it was gifted by my husband. Thank you!bouquet smitten
On the book front, why not try Canadian Margaret Attwood's The Handmaid's Tale - published in 1985 and adapted into the great TV series of the same name. Gripping stuff, and she is a great writer, having won two Booker Prizes amongst many other prizes.
... or Dogeaters by Jessica Hagedorn set in MM of the 50s
Three hours on the treadmill?
Don't waste your time.
Eat only stakes and eggs, cook the veggies, don't eat them raw, cut the fast carbs off, get some weights, some resistant bands and then we can talk about serious action.
Good luck!
Thank you. I read this book last year. Margaret Atwood is truly a brilliant writer.cheers
Thank you, I do appreciate this. I also practice kettlebell exercises.
