Names of Children and Why?

If you were to have children with your spouse, or if you are considering having children, what names would you choose if the child was a boy or a girl? What does the name mean? Why did you choose this name?

For me, if I had a boy and a girl, my son would carry the name Rytsar (Russian for "knight"). My daughter would be called Reka (Russian for "river"). Mind you, these are just ideas and not finalized; if I ever find my spouse, we would both find a name for our children.

i am not sure I would name any child of mine. I would gift something he or she could use until the time he or she was old enough and smart enough to determine what name she or he would like to be called. Maybe J for a boy and O for a girl.
I may ask T. or even Naa, his other half.
My family name is Potts and I'd never name my daughter Flower...

The Irish spelling is caoimhe, and the correct Irish pronunciation of that spelling is kweeva, not keeva.
I have a girl and a boy already. They are enough. This is just a dream of having more kids. Benedict for a boy. Bernadeth for a girl.
Good question. confused
Just don't saddle your child with some obscure name so that they will be faced with "can you spell that please" for the rest of their lives. laugh
I think that it's quite clear that I am single, hence my joining ConnectingSingles. The question is hypothetical, for everyone to weigh in on.
