The Battle against mindless tedium

I've been single for a long time now and have a familiar companion at my side _ tedium. Boredom.

It can be a tough foe, sometimes helpful, sometime no.

If anyone wonders how tedium can ever be a good thing, consider this:

It has caused me to think.

In the past year, I have rejected religion (on intellectual grounds), have read more books than in the previous two years combined, and learned many good things. In addition, it has forced me to swallow a humble pill.

Now I'm hoping to take the transformed me into dating and hopefully a LTR.
