A few years ago I was having a personal debate on race with a lady I had a crush on. I told her that my surname could be traced back in Ireland for a thousand years. She retorted that I was practically a foreigner as the "Blakes" could trace their ancestery back four thousand years in Ireland.

Personlly I feel that too much of an issue is put onto skin colour, hair colour, eye colour etc.

My mother had a fortune teller give her reading and they said that I would meet and marry an asian girl. About two weeks ago I met a Japanese girl...WEIRD!(I must admit many foreign cultures know about respect, I think western culture doesn't know what respect means sometimes!). My parents think I should marry in my own race, honestly I don't care. I suppose that is the difference between my generation and theirs, as we may be a bit more accepting when it comes to things like that. I think it is a good step forward. "Love knows no boundaries" a qoute I heard somewhere lol.
