On the journey of self improvement.

Hi,

I quit smoking recently. I thought I'd start a thread about ways we can improve ourselves. Post anything you like from the best form of meditation to training your mind.
My contribution is a DVD by Allen Carr "The easyway to stop smoking" add water and excercise.

How about starting to go to church and beginning to believe in GOD if you don't do so now! My contribution is the Holy Bible!
Meditate, meditate, meditate.

Hi Mr. Quest-

Something I think people can do to improve themselves is put themselves in situations they normally wouldn't, travel, be open-minded, think outside the box, and explore and try new things whenever possible. Maybe find something you've always been interested in, and go to an event, or read a book about it, or interact with a group of likeminded individuals.

The more we interact with people and things outside of our comfort zone, the more we will grow as individuals. Life is too short to not take chances, to not explore, to not dream! beer
Good blog post Quest4SoulMate! cheers

I recommend the video "You can change your life by Louise L Hay!!" It's much better than the secret! grin cool
I so agree, Ruben! I have that one too! Very helpfulapplause
if the goodness is at your core, it will spin and radiate outward for everyone to see, self improvement can be taken too far, and the real persona of the person, and the individuality of the person, rather than growing becomes submerged,.
I don't believe in self improvement. I think we are all perfect just as we are. If guided or inspired, however, to make changes, there are resources that can be very beneficial in facilitating those changes. That is what I offered above. They have been helpful to me in my process of inspired awakening within.
