WHERE TIME STANDS STILL
Away from civilizationThe air remains fresh
Only the gentle calls
of winged friends.
Away from civilization
Winds blow, trees sway
Distant sounds of
gentle giants pierce the silence.
Away from civilization
the villus sparkle
whistling ducks cackle
foxes watch with interest.
Away from civilization
you and I await eagerly
to spot the rare creatures
in sizes big and small.
Away from civilization
you and me, two specimens
our friends inspect with suspicion
they do not trust man..
Away from civilization,
A fish eagle hovers
in the vast expanse of blue
awaiting prey...
We wonder.. our thoughts mingle
without chaotic poachers
without avaricious politicians
how wonderful Earth would be..
