QUEST FOR PEACE
To fight a race against timeit is impossible,
I just wondered
if
ONLY..
IF ONLY..
I could capture your every move
each time you walk by,
each time I see your face..
If I could capture them all..
in my lenses and click away...
I would have albums to look at..
I would have you to look at..
when there is only silence
that remains between us.
If only I could capture the brusque walk
record the voice behind my door
hold on to the moments spent ..
I would have a treasure in my hands..
If I could fight attachment
stay detached
If I could tell my self,
this is all but a mirage
I wouldn't be so lifeless.
as tired as a withering tree...
there will be peace ..
there will be solace
there will be endurance
