Why is it?

Why is it that so many people will meet someone and promise everything but really only mean it temporarily. I think they themselves really believe what they say until a problem arises and then they only look out for themselves.

its emotional comfort eating, they graze what they need from you, and then move on to feed on the next person, it allows them to stay in there emotional comfort zone, get too close, they leave your field, and go graze in someones else's paddock, its serial behavior, they will never move on, period. do i deserve a banana for that, me love nanna, uummmmmm

It's all good as long the times are, but when they see something they see as "drama" running is their option. I have read so many profiles that mention they are not interested in drama. No one can promise a rose garden so the tough stick it out and the weak get going.

I wish I knew! I have just finished a second relationship in a row where the men have admitted they used me until something better or the unrequited love came along. If I knew I could avoid it all.

It's because talk comes cheap, and they are IRRESPONSIBLE people. I'd rather not promise anything but just DO. And if I say PROMISE something I will do everything in my capacities to carry it out! So, I expect others to do the same. But...people like that are like needles in haystacks.... dunno

I tend not to trust what people say anymore, only what they do.... I will learn who they are, by what they do, or what they say AND do!
