Celestial Readings Astrological Update for Sept 11

The Harvest Moon in September in the United States is always closest to the Autumnal equinox. The Harvest Moon had particular significance in our agricultural history, graciously bestowing additional light hours for farmers and crop-sharers to harvest their crops.

Normally, the moon rises a bit later each night, but around the Harvest Moon, it rises at around the same time for several nights in a row in the Northern latitudes. The zodiac, the band of constellations through which the Moon travels from night to night, (at around the start of autumn) is the section that forms the most shallow (or closest) angle to the eastern horizon. The moon ‘loses’ the minutes of its rise, the farther north you go. The Northern regions of Europe lose as much as 10 to 20 minutes compared to the most northern point in the US, not only because much of the European continents proximity to the North pole but also because of the angle of the Earth.

September 11, 2011, the 10th year anniversary of the one and only terrorist attack on US soil, sees a brilliant Harvest Moon in Pisces. Pisces rules the human psyche, and interestingly enough, the word psyche means ‘soul’. Pisces also rules the ‘collective consciousness’, the vistas of our unconscious wherein all memories reside ~from the Here-Now (back through time) to the formative years of your childhood and infancy, and then through to the memories of your past lives. Herein is the beautiful and colorful void of the Akashic records.

The word ‘akashic’ comes from the Sanskrit word, akasha meaning ‘ether’, space (or sky). These mystical records, exist within each one of us, and contain the entire recorded history of the human experience, as well as the history of the Cosmos. We all have access to these sacred records, through various mediumships, our dreams, hypnosis, some psychics, (Edgar Cayce, being one) and of course, during the transition of death. [Cayce is reputed to have spoken of the “social memory complex” known to humans as “Ra,”~ when the questioner asks where Edgar Cayce received his information, he said: “We have explained before that the intelligent infinity is brought into intelligent energy from eighth density or octave. The one sound vibratory complex called Edgar used this gateway to view the present, which is not the continuum you experience but the potential social memory complex of this planetary sphere. The term your peoples have used for this is the “Akashic Record” or the “Hall of Records.”

All babies are born with the full-bodied knowledge of the akashic records and as we grow into toddlers then children, we gradually lose these soul-memories as the pain and limitation of daily existence supersedes or overpowers these precious touchstones of our existence. This may explain why it takes so many lifetimes to evolve into fully ‘realized’ beings.

Moon moves into Aries on the 13th at 2:49 AM for a two-day sojourn. Therefore, expect energy levels to be high and spirited midweek. Thursday, at 3:25 PM the Moon moves into gentle but talkative Taurus and squares Mars as it moves out of Cancer (approaching the cusp of Leo). Varying points of view may be colorfully, if not loudly, expressed and children will be playful and spirited. Join in the fun. It’s no time to be a grumpy bear!
