On his control examination he said "Hello how are you" to the doctor and she was like: "Great you are talking again!":))
Now he feels great, I don't know how long will he take them...
Good luck with your treatment and wish you to feel great very soon!
Seeing a counselor or talking to a trusted friend is important to get to the root of what is making you feel down and finding good coping skills to develop long term. Anti-depressant serves as a useful tool until one develops strategies of better coping skills. It is often hard to see things objectively when we are inside the problem, so a counselor not only helps us see outside our square but also gives you other tools for coping.
So good on you for taking the first step and talking to your doctor!!! That shows courage and willingness to address the problem. Keep going and I hope you find a counselor you would be comfortable with!!!
I watched a man crumble to pieces when his partner left and he had to use some type of depressant drug, just to help him cope with his day to day life, he used to break down at any time of the day.
My mate used to tease him and that really made him cry and pop more pills. I asked my mate why he did this, he said, hes crying over nothing, his women just left him, I had to bury the love of my life. That kinda of stuck in my head and I remembered it when my own relationship was over. The crying man found new love and came off the pills. So it can be done natural (no pills) if you think about it.
good quote
Life is one big road with many signs. So when your riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don’t bury your thoughts, instead put your vision to reality. Wake up and live.
I take a 40 mg daily dose of Citalopram. Soon to be increased to 60 mg. Although I would prefer 80 mg per day with 'a chaser'!
Sometimes when one crosses swords with other members it can make a meek and mild chap such as I both anxious and'very depressed'!
