However, having read INTHEMIND's objective article about 'debates and debaters' and SOME DUDE's missive, I now find myself able to take a step backwards and strive to look at bigotry in an objective manner. And yet despite that, I am still angry.

Yes you're right, this is what Jesus said when He was crufified. In your case if you're still angry, this is very normal. We are only humans, I do also sometimes.
But I realize, because I have faith in Christ, so I have to learn how to be like Him. It's not easy, that's why I wrote above "I always learn", maybe for the rest of my life...

To cross swords is not bad if things stay in some "frames" of politeness and common sense.
People who have knowledge of the true path don't need to resort to hate and aggression because they are at peace with themselves and others. It is those who are "know not what they do" and have no peace within themselves that fall easily into destructive attitudes.

I can understand what you mean and what you feel. Basically, every human being, knows how to be a right person; knows this is wrong and this right. God created us (human) so different with others God's creations.
Imo, if I know how to do a right thing but I don't do, it means I don't know what I've done...ignorant! So, what we have to do is only forgive and forget. Just forgive them Jana, this is the best way that we have to do as Christ's children.

Yes we all know very well what is good and what is bad. And you ar right that in some way acting bad when you distinguish them is an ignorance. Ignorance of God. No wonder we feel bad when we are bad...
We already have problems in our real life, so let's make CS is a comfortable place, where we can meet our dearly friends, chit chat, make helathy argues/ discussions, laugh and joy.
