wierd day

Today, was a wierd day. It was raining and dark outside. Driving down a two way street, i was coming over a small hill and saw a car sitting appears to be turning. I slowed down..but wasn't stopping i slamed on my breaks..nothing I lost control ..i started looking around for a way out..nothing! I hit her car! why didn't she turn? she could have..no cars coming. She doesn't want the cops called or anything she keeps asking for money..? wierd huh? i finally leave call my insurance co and filled a claim.. i suspect this is a scam but im still at fault.. not right :(

I was pretty upset i couldn't figure out how this happened.. She was Chinese and said the car was leased and she was turning it in next week, just give her some money. I wasn't going for it. I mean thats what insurance is for, right? there wasnt hardly any damge to her car or mine.

IDK i just thought it was very wierd. She said she owned a hair place around the corner. seems to wierd to be for real.. now i have a accident on my record.. awww lifes grand! h ya my backs killing me now :(

Probably should have called the police and had them do a report. Your insurance may require a report before they pay anything? dunno

Glad to hear your okay and the damage wasn't too bad. Cars are replaceable, you're not! hug

greeneyes yea, your right but i was a mess..but better now :) bsooner thanks hun maybe she was put there to stop my uncontrolled car.. maybe i would of died! GOD at work? :)

That is one way to look at it onme. Maybe you should have your brakes checked or some new tires? You don't want to be in that situation again. comfort

Do your car have ABS brakes? That may explain why the car wouldn't stop, I been in situations where ABS brakes actually caused the car to roll further than it would have with standard braking.

This man I knew used to do that. He would park in the middle of the intersection and just sit there. The opposing driver would approach and stop. Then when the guy I knew wouldn't go the opposing driver thinks he's not going so he would continue. The guy just sitting there would suddenly accelerate and voila! He would win his claim in court because the opposing driver didn't yield.

Sounds like that lady was doing that to you!
