Christmas without a partner

Yes, this is the 4th christmas I've spent without a partner. I was married for 1 month short 15 years and was with my partner at that time for 18 years... He died on Nov. 25th. Anyways,,, I'm ready for a new companion... but none are in sight... well, except for the few married guys who have offered the one night stands... NOT interested.. I am happy/lucky to have my wonderful son to spend it with but I have to let him go and spend time with his friends... and that leaves me alone... alone to think,,, alone to sulk,,, alone to feel alone... I keep coming on here to read blogs for company so tonight I decided to add a blog... I wish you all happiness in the New Year... cheers

Be bold with men!Go up to men in grocery stores and start up a conversation.Look in the cart first though,some tell tale signs of a signal guy is by what he has in his cart.

Another good way to find great single guys is through friends,or boyfriends/husbands of friends.Let them know that you are looking for a loving relationship.They are bound to know someone who is also single and looking.

Hey Still, It so hard to start over after so many years with someone. I was married 25 years, and now it's just my son and I. Seems like everywhere I went for the holidays, everyone was with someone. Kind of feels like being the 5th wheel. I hope 2012 holds good things for you, and for me too. teddybear
