A new begining

Happy New Year everyone. It is time for a new begining, putting the past behind you and moving on.
One of my sisters decided we should loose wait by going cold turkey. Stop drinking sodas and no more eating meat. Personlly yeah I could stand to loose 25 lbs, but she has no will power I know she wont stick to it. Loosing wait is more than just not eating one has to exercise.
But a new begining for me is more personal. I spent 2011 looking for a man to carry me away. I never liked being single watching my sisters go out on dates and now my neices and nephews. I realize that being single is my fate and i need to accept it. so this year I have decided to separate myself from dating sites and just try to enjoy being single. Maybe I will loose a few lbs.

Yes, enjoy being single without losing hope that you'll meet someone fated to you along the way. Sometimes as they say, you meet one in the most unexpected time and place. Or that we keep on looking somewhere without realizing he's just within one's reach. And yes, losing weight is not just dieting but exercise as well. Self discipline is the key.bouquet

Belly, I do Pilates and Tai Chi. I bought the videos from garage sales I think amd the Tai CHi is easy and the Pilates is not hard. When I quit eating meat I did lose weight. You eat more often and less calories I think. Eating more often speeds up your metabolism....breakfast is important to kick start your metabulism!! I never found anyone in 2011 either...but, it doesn't mean I will be alone forever. Good Luck!!comfort

I have started a diet of chicken & fish, fruit, vegetables, grains, real fruit juice and exercise walking with a little jogging. I have lost 25 lbs so instead of hovering around 185-190 as I am in my profile picture I now weigh 160.

It didn't take long but it was kinda hard at first because my stomach wanted steak and potatoes. But you get used to it.
