Timetravel

A possibility?

I'd say so. If you fly from india to spain
you will fly 10hours in just a few hours (take off maybe 8
but land 12) but flew 10h... confused

And if you fly from spain to india u also flew 10h but lost 6h of the day? Where did they go?

Ok, that was a blonde comment i see... coz the one is blonder than the other laugh sorry, I'll keep quiet now... discuss amongst yourselves blushing
Tango, i also like the childcarrier the best.
i'm as thin as the other one though, but i comfort myself that he must have been just as fit and healthy to be able to walk 100mils in ski. Back then there where no sigarettes u know thumbs up
It's a very interesting pic, must have been really something to live in those times...
Looking closely at it you see that he carries a shield to protect the child but also an axe in the other hand, moving on skiis WOW !wow Strong guy flex good thing he didn't like Marlborough rolling on the floor laughing
that's so cool cool
Of course, if you think time is linear and not cylindrical...if you think of time not being linear then this moment has already occurred and the past, present and future are encapsulated in one moment.....confused dunno professor
You know it was funny that i could fly from here in New Zealand which is on one side of the international date line to the birth place of my parents (Western Samoa) on the other side of the dateline and arrive there the day before i left....

Yea dj, hehe. Bit confusing that stuff really, i must always think to grasp it and even then i ofen can't dunno beer
lol

Hi calli, actually i don't care about cylindres or linear unless i can see it with my own eye's, u know what i mean? So many theories that is actually only thought models.

Dj, if you fly at 2800km/h from east to west (earths speed of rotation by equator) u are actually relatively speaking standing still! wow
Well, answering your question, Morgen. is that the different time zone or maybe the different routes the pilot took? Another possibility is do the plane passed the Bermuda triangle? confused
Hold on dj, i lied its 1,674 km/h, meaning if we fly at mach2 in a F16 we'll get younger by the hour thumbs up

Hi summer, i dunno. U can say my logic goes abit into that triangle and disappear in thin air when i get into this topic
i feel.. conversing confused angel
It is supposed to be theoretically possible.
I have always been interested in the science fiction portrayal of time travel, such as Dr Who.
It's fun to speculate about Carl. Agree on that.
I think it's not more possible than teleporting though
Buuuu. Would be fun if it was though hehe.

@Morgen, well buddy, the guys on the ISS (International Space Station) must be just about infants because they are travelling at 28,163 Kph which would make them almost as young as this post.. rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing transport
It was proven with very tiny particles. The ones that were speeded up to travel very fast had longer lives than the ones that were not. Of course, here we talk about very small parts of time, milliseconds or so.

The way I understand Einstein's theory of relativity is that he has assumed that time and space are closely connected and that they stand in the inverse proportion. The longer the space you traverse the less the time passes. I wonder if I have got it right.
