I Challenge You!

I challenge you! Who can describe what is:

Body gets "masuk angin (masuk = in, angin = wind)"

and

body is "panas dalam (panas = hot, dalam = in)"?

It's common ill in Indonesia but I bet you don't have there. LOL

Have a fun day, guys!

Dear Summer, The first word was about " wind " and the second was about " hot " so it is a " hot wind " ? . . confused . .. .This wouldn't have anything to do with the after effects of eating a verry spicy dish and then realizing later what a mistake it was ! . . . . . . .blushing laugh laugh laugh
@ Frank : It is two different kind of common illness here due to changes of weather. grin
@ Continten : Well, I notice you are in Bali. So, haven't you hear someone said that "words" to you? laugh
Dear Summer, OK, you know I was just kidding . .wink
@ Summer: Yeah, I hear about it about at least a dozen times every day! rolling on the floor laughing I'm not really surprised to learn today from you that this is clearly an epidemic occurrence spread out over the entire archipelago. Thank you and your effort to find an solution to the urgent problem on an international dating site bouquet I just hope this isn't back firing at all of us by keeping potential dates away!
@ Contentin : haha. It won't. I find it just funny since when I said that I got "masuk angin" and "panas dalam", I myself couldn't find the exact figure in English. lol. Some of my friends only just say "what is it?". haha. Interesting huh? laugh

Relax and enjoy the Kuta beach there, dear! lips
@ Frank : I know..I know.. Don't take it serious. I'm posting it for fun cheers
common colds and flu? SARS?dunno is it familiar to those out of Indonesia at least,Summertan?confused
@ papermate : SARS? No! SARS is not common. Well, since Indonesia is a country with high humidity and then hot and rain seasons only then you might never have this kind of "flu and fever". It's easy to cure with some traditional method or ointment.

What will happen in your place when you open a cracker and put it on your table openly untied for whole night. Do you still find it crispy at the next day? Here you won't, right in the next some minutes after you let it open untied. haha

HI summer wave

It seems to me that you're looking for slang words for a description of both of these conditions dunno perhaps -under the weather- for "masuk angin" and -stale- for "panas dalam"

-under the weather- describes being sick and not feeling well sick

-stale- describes your poor little neglected bag-less cracker laugh
@ Paul : laugh You have a taste of humor!

I personally never heard someone said "under the weather for being sick"..Hey, I'm under the weather! confused grin

Masuk angin is not sick yet, it's feeling not well from being exhausted. It can happened suddent.

Stale? No! You still can eat it but you might not like it as before. It's masuk angin. laugh I know you are confuse. rolling on the floor laughing
Summer uh oh just as long as the humor doesn't get "panas dalam" from staying out too long on that table mumbling christmas sad mumbling then it will still have a good taste laugh laugh laugh

"under the weather" means exactly what you said above, about feeling tired, dizzy, wanting to barf , and over exhaustion, so all of that is feeling sick. And, I don't mean sick as an hospital sickness, that needs extensive care, but sick as in not feeling well comfort and that "under the weather" sickness happens suddenly or "suddent" as you said grin it's just like the weather changes professor

And ofcourse, laugh you can still have that stale craker and eat it too, comfort but it's more like a stale caker now crazy cake

wave rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
@ Paul : "Summer uh oh just as long as the humor doesn't get "panas dalam" from staying out too long on that table mumbling christmas sad mumbling then it will still have a good taste laugh laugh laugh "

laugh laugh You make my day! laugh

Thanks for the explanation. The "under the weather" makes sense handshake
@ Funlaugh : rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

@ Shay : laugh laugh They tried to make me confuse. rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
