Summer time 'Snacks'?

As it's a tad nippy and DAMP here so I decided to have one of those little 'snacks' we used to have as kids;
A hot mug of 'OXO' with a slice of bread broken up in it, in fact I've had two. Mind you when my girls were growing up and because we were so 'POOR', we used to have this as our 'Sunday dinner' :-(
What 'snacks' can you remember having as kids?

cheers

Bread and butter pudding would follow a meal usually and I still have one now and again just for myself but for a 'snack' I would have it cold, out of the fridge.
Even a 'Weetabix' spread with butter and then sugar sprinkled over would be a tasty snack too.

After frying bacon for Dad's breakfast, Mum would let us boys wipe a slice of bread across the frying pan, oh I can taste it now.

Sopapillas (I think that's the spelling). It's tortilla dough sliced and deep fried then sprinkled with powdered sugar.

Our Mexican Mom had a great mind for making us kids snacks. Too many to try to remember.
