Large Chanterelle

Someone in Sweden found a Chanterelle of this size. How many of you around the world have ever tasted this delicious fungus?

They should glue it onto a blue background and make a Swedish flag out of it.

I had a pasta dish with chanterelles on Sunday, accompagnied by a salad which also contained chanterelles - that was in fact the best salad I have ever had. smile

Susanne, Pfifferling was a funny name for this mushroom. In Swedish it's kantarell.

Virgo, this mushroom is called "the gold of the forest" in Sweden, and it's really delicious. Used in a sauce it's hilarious.

This is one mushroom, I don't know the name and maybe it is poisonous mushroom. I took it at Dalat.
