It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.”

I believe if you look at most failed marriages those couples married for the wrong reasons. The substance to create a long and lasting marriage, and a loving one, was not there to begin with; no foundation to build upon.
Wasn't Friedrich Nietzsche in love with his sister or someone like that????conversing
the contractual nature of marriage does not help friendship to develop.
@Pranoy, you mean to say just cohabit without marriage?
Can't say much (no experience being married), I would say based on what I have seen on my parents being married for 30 years. I guess its give and take. When someone is talking, the other one listens and vice versa. Not all but that's one of the things made the marriage surviving.
i was never married, so wouldnt know, but my parents have been married for 43 years and it takes many trials and errors
I cohabited with my xwife for nearly 2 years before tying the knot, didn't change the out come. Not bashing her but she changed and talking didn't help. I sometimes believe she was abducted by aliens and sent back as some sort of experiment rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
Marriage??? The most expensive way to have your laundry done and your meals on time!!!! If they fail.... It makes unhappy marriages.
It takes a lot more than being a cook and taking care of the laundry to have a successful marriage, my friend.
Nietzsche's last words on his deathbed were,"Nazarean you have come for me!"
This from a guy that spent his whole life disavowing the existence of God.
Credability right out the window!
its all abt quality and quantity as simple as thattongue
Aw, but quality beats quantity every time.
i was married seven years to the day cant remember breaking any mirrors ??
