Not sure if I'll ever figure it out, but I know I'm blessed when I'm loved and when I can share whatever portion I have with another. Love to my thinking sometimes ends up being a choice that we make that sometimes doesn't always translate into those "lovey dovey" feelings for emotions can ebb & flow ........ love is loving someone when you'd mad at them, forgiving them, not necessarily putting up with bad behaviour, but loving them to make the choice to stick it out with them.

No relationship is going to be 100% over the top all the time ... it reminds me of raising kids, we love them, don't always like them, but love in the end brings us together and there is room for forgiveness.

We receive love from others and its within our power to share it with others ...... the rewards are pretty wonderful, and when we expect the best and look for the good in others and remember why we love them, we can indeed share and experience great love.

Love is an emotion. It is to be felt and seldom understood on a cognitive level.

I personally feel that it is a mental illness (a very pleasant one). An alteration of one's brain chemistry which can make one think, act and feel differently (hopefully in a positive way).
