The answers to yesterdays test.
I have given a little test about how hard it is to recognise real and fake stories online yesterday: the blog titled "Ok here goes".. Now here are the answers..well we've had 13 people giving their idea..
story 1 was considered true by 9 of them, 4 consider it to be false.
Well this one was real.. it was a wonderfull night we've talked for hours and he really is one of the nicest guys i've ever met.. he is really down to earth doesn't consider himself better then anyone else.. he was very loved by all that lived in that area since he spends allot of holidays there.
story 2 was considered true by only 2 people, meaning 11 of you considered it to be false.
Again this story is real. I have met the prince on several occasions around that time and we have set up some very succesfull fundraisers together.
story 3 was considered true by 6 people, 7 of you considered it to be false.
I was at a restaurant there but if messi was there i sure didn't noticed. So this one was false.
story 4 was considered true by 6 people 7 considered it to be false.
I was at rammstein airbase that very same day.. and I did give her a thumbs up and I did get a smile in return. So yes this one was also true.
Now as conclusion..
I guess it isn't as easy as it seems to find the difference between real and fake when we only have to base our opinion on the written word. Remember you all had the benefit of knowing that some stories could/would be fake here.. How would you have judged them if I never had said it would be fake?? would you have believed me then? would you have considered the possibility of it being false?
As for the reasons behind this little test.. I just wanted people to become more aware of the dangers of just believing everything they read no matter how real it may seem. Don't be affraid to have a critical look at things.
Maybe even look at your own blogs.. how honest are you?? Just ask yourself that question.. when you write about thinsg that happened to you.. did they happen the way you've written about them? Or did you make it look better, did you adjust a few details so the story would become more appealing?? Nothing wrong with that it could in fact help a story.. but always keep in mind others might do the same when they write about something.
Thank you to the ones who had the guts to take this little test.
Enjoy the blogs. Hope we've all learned something from this.. I know I did.

There's a guy down the local chipper swears he's Elvis, too.
anyway..
So we've learned that i had gotten my facts wrong on one of the stories.. But since i didn't know this untill just a few minutes ago.. I still won't consider my story as being less real (in prospect to the test provided) Offcourse if i tell the story again in the future i will have to state that i was asked to leave before seeing her but that i could at least see some of the other people on her plain.
