The Height of a Tree

The Height of a Tree

Measure with a walking stick. U need three marks on the stick. One mark is the end of the stick (b) which u hold upwards to view the top of the tree (B). The second mark is 72 cm lower on the stick (c) to view the tree (C) in the height of the standing line and the third 80 cm lower (a) to view the base of the tree (A). With a tape measure u take the figure between (A) and (C). Multiplied by ten gives the height of the tree.wow cool

Now that is good to know, but i just need to know the circumference. You see I just like to hug them doesnt matter about their height.

Measure from the left finger tip to the right finger tip. Only hug trunks which u can embrace. So u know - but don't forget the cup sizes to correct.handshake

Swap walking stick for a protractor and either a book of tables or a scientific calculator. Walk say 50 feet out from the tree and measure the angle to the top of the tree. Lets say it's 60 degrees.

Tree height is 50 tan 60 = 86 feet. professor
