Jesus how sad is that...it's hard enough getting blood out of a stone but when you're talking to the wall...that takes the biscuit...do you know what I mean...am I preaching to the converted...not trying to be mean...but give us a chance to reply...who know some people might agree with the comments...not trying to start the tulip wars again...that was pointless too...

The answer is pure ans simple.
whilst everyone enjoys (so called) free speech, people also enjoy the comforts of wanting to say something and thats all. No need for comments, so they close it off.
There maybe countless reasons why some choose not to allow comments, whilst others enjoy the banter between others.
Because a person does not allow comments on their blog, does not make them any less a person than anyone else on this site.
If this is such a pain to you, Dont read them, there easy to spot, they have need up for an untold period of time, weiw few views and still 0 comments.

If I understood correct Blogging is somewhat different than forum-ing (creating discussions in a form of a thread and poll)
But then again,me same as you don`t see the point of pointing out my opinion on a wall without giving people the chance to voice theirs ...

If someone has to many blogs without comments what I do is stop reading that persons blogs. Haven't found one yet with the comments disabled that really was an actual blog. Just two groups like the bloods and the crypts feuding with each other. And they don't need me to do that

There are some really talented bloggers here. That actually blog. You will learn who they are. If you want chatter you can go to the forums for that. Now in all honesty what blog in the last decade has been closed for comments that you really wanted to comment on??

Mia, you are right. It is the bloggers right to disable comments. But it's frustrating for everyone else when they cannot post a response. It's kind of like the kid that comes to the sandbox with his toys and then refuses to share. Just sayin'.

Amus, you didn't start any wars. Have you ever heard the expression that someone is "an accident waiting for a place to happen"?

Well some CS bloggers are a war waiting for a place to wage. It's just that way.

As long as your conscience is clear, don't worry too much about some of the responses that you receive.

Also, there are many people here for which English is not their native language. I have much respect for their willingness to communicate with others in a language that they do not fully comprehend. It's inevitable that sometimes what is written is misinterpreted. Sometimes we have to take that into consideration before we react to a response.

While I'm here I will tell you that I really don't harbor any anomosity towards you . I also do not wish any ill will towards you , I just think that a softer aproach might be a better way of speaking to people . No one likes to be chastized into beliving something . Dear Fotinia , I will admit that sometimes I find it hard not to say what I'm really feeling . I will however try to my best ability to be as cool and profesional as I can . I also will admit that this is not the first time that Mia has come out against me and accused me of all manor of things . I do not think that she is all that well in certain elements and that is why I try to keep my patience with her . Her accusations if you read them are not the makings of a truley rational mind .

I can honestly say that I do not harbor any ill will towads her and only wish that she recives the help she appears to need . Nothing would make me happier than for her to take a rational approach to things instead of thinking that it is all against her . Well we can hope !
