When I was young my father was away a lot on business, I really only saw him at weekends, as a child I didn't understand why he had to be away so much until one Christmas it all became clear, it was the wee small hours of Christmas day, I was awake but hiding under my blanket in case Santa didn't deliver my presents, I'd been told he would only leave them if I was asleep, suddenly a blinding light shone into my room, Santa had arrived with my presents, he laid them carefully in the corner of the room & as he turned stepping into the light all became clear, my father was in fact Father Christmas, no wonder he was so busy all year.wave
