Call of the jungle

"Call of the Jungle" is a book about West-Papua. About how people live traditionally and concerns about the cold modern civilizations.
I only got the german edition and don't know if it is available in Papua-New Guinea or West-Papua.
If u can lend from somewhere it could be worth reading.
Especially for Papuans not knowing where to go or unknowing what they leave behind.

I often wonder who are we - modern civilization - to tell others where to go and what to do. Why not to just observe and not interfere?

They had a sort of tax even then, Partydunno and they did take away the belongings if people didnt paycrying

Have you been to West Papua yourself? dunno

Have you been to Papua New Guinea which is the eastern part of Papua island and is an independent state who was ruled by British and Australia before it got its Independence in 1975? dunno
