Another fallen leaf

The old lady is used to spending her lunch break at home and her husband always fetch her. Just this noon break she waited for quite a time and her husband was nowhere. She called home and nobody even knows. Little did they know that the man since morning went to his vegetable garden and then fell unconscious without anybody around. She's now a widow. He could be still here if somebody was around to call the ambulance. But then again he may not. What a way to go!blues

@Waf, sleeping to death is quite serene. Had the man been a lazy one, he could have been home napping and thus sleeping to death. He was in his vegetable patch maybe even worrying about the impending snow and how his veggies can withstand it. A real sad way to go.
Hi, Ms. Migsy. Konnichiwa! Are you a Pinay?
@Boban, no lunch. Maybe we could do some fasting in time for the Holy Week.
Thanks for sharing your time.bouquet
@Parti, yes really sad story. I guess they've been married for around 40 yrs. And yet he died together with his vegetables. Really sad. Thanks for gracing the blog.bouquet
Hello Tatami,

Good to share this affectionate blog. Really, here in the country we are living in.... There's so many independent elderly living alone nor just the two of them (husband & wife). But as we really knew, the Japanese government really supported this Elderly people rather than the Young Teenagers... Their living is not in vain; although it was really lonely.
But they used to it... And life goes on for them. Japanese people are considered one who has brave heart anyway.

My Best Regards,
Crystal

@Raven, to be honest, it took me so much time to produce a title than to write what I saw and heard. Thanks for appreciating.
@Ms. Migsy, am too, a Chinoy, a half Chinese and a half Pinoy. Hurrah for us. Got some half bros and sis in Hongkong
@Crystal, there are 3 generations living with them. Just sad to know that he went ahead of their 90's parents. You could just imagine with a lot of people around, how come he died alone with his vegetables. Really, really sad! Everybody seems to be absorbed with their own daily routines to notice one is missing.
One can really be with a lot of people and still be lonely.
to everybody who shared their thoughts, my warm regards. bouquet
