My youngest son is off to college on Monday...I am delighted for him,he deserves the best. It has now suddenly dawned on me, for the first time in my life I am free to do as I please, he is the last to leave the nest.

Oh! So many nefarious things I have undertaken while in the haze of rum punch in Jamaica! One of my favorite spots... Negril. I had my first experience of nitrogen narcosis there. I highly recommend it as well. Everything was one and it showed itself to me as The Beloved: many lives that appeared separate and thought themselves as such but it was one Life, appearing here and then appearing to disappear there and reappear elsewhere. I was enamored for days... Hare, hare!
I built a reef out of rubblerock there and the management called me in to talk with them. <SNORT!> Many hotel guests were helping me and the management and I had a chat about how they could position a rubble reef and secure it and thereby preserve their beaches and also create habitat for fish and something for their patrons to snorkel on. They built it! I want to go back and see my reef.
I also planted a bunch of mangroves off the shoreward side of the barrier island called Shell Island at Pasa Grille off the west central coast of FL and it grew up and totally changed the shape of the island! Now it is a rookery and bird sanctuary! Amazing the long term ramifications of a few Saturdays spent planting red mangrove pencils and black mangrove sprouts...
