Why many woman are posting older pictures?

Why publish so many women outdated photos? What sense is to do that? Who really wants to find a partner should be honest ... Or I do something wrong?

Because in older pictures they looke slimmer and younger.

Regularly you read about online daters who go to the first meeting & the other one doesn't turn up, would be interesting to know on how many occasions that has happened where they both did in fact turn up but their pictures were so old they didn't recognise one another

My pictures a a bit older, but I still look the same, as you can see from my photos. But I see men too tend to do the same... see no difference in this matter. So no need to attack the women on here. And I'm still waiting...

I want to put my older picture but maybe when I got older, or someone could borrow me a time machine so i could go to the future and took the old version of me

. I like the way I look now. I tried skype to see if they looks like in the pic. Well, mostly yes they are and even better

Why even worry about what other people do? I went out on a date with this woman whose picture was very outdated. I was quite surprised when I met her. I still took her out to dinner, a couple of drinks and we danced a little. Guess what. It didn't kill me.

It also happened to me a second time. But, again, no sweat!

NOW! I never called them back but maybe they didn't think I was such a hot prospect either!

And in true @ Ed1941, it do'nt kill's us :) What I meand is about honesty in generally... I thought the most girls & guys here are looking for some special - so why start a potential relationship with smaller or bigger lies???

Point of the matter is that whether you post a picture or not it should be a current one. If we are all serious about meeting someone here then we should share images of our recent selves. That's the first step to email communication that can eventually lead to video chatting and hopefully a meeting - so best to show the real and current you at the first instance.

Totally agree recently involved with someone who used a slightly older photograph and when it came close to skyping started to panic that I may not like them, and yes there was a big difference in actual and photograph but by this time the personality had shone through so it was a minor discrepancy to me.

Men and women who post outdated pictures are practicing a form of dishonesty. Any picture posted should be up-to -date, not doctored, and their own. When I see these outdated pictures, I do not bother to contact them, even if I am attracted by their profile. Ditto for pictures of animals or sites.
