Our Success Story -We met on CS and got married
HiMy name is Megan, I just posted a success story about CS but I cant seem to find out where it can be retrieved for viewing.
After almost giving up on love after a broken relationship, I looked to CS to see if I could find a friend in my area. I live in Trinidad in the Caribbean.
Instead I found blimer, miles and miles away in Europe.
After corresponding and flying off to see if a couple times and thousands of Skype hours later, we got married last October.
Thank you CS for making this possible.
And to those of you out there who wonder if it works, it does, with a little perseverance and commitment. Ours was long distance, but CS gave me the opportunity to have a partner for life.

It really was difficult at first because of the long distance and as mentioned, it is hard to determine those who are genuine and those who are up to no good. I was fortunate to get lucky and meet a genuine guy.
@ OutsideofBali,one day blimer and I made a decision to just deactivate our account and I never looked back. I just reactivated my account to post the success story and will be gone for good soon.
@ virgosingle, I am in the fortunate position to get a vacation allowance one a year that helped me with the opportunity to travel. I also wanted to see Europe one day and was able to visit several countries on the continent.
@ enigma,I completely understand how you feel as I know several persons who had bad experiences here.. I think though that eventually, people show there true colours as it takes a lot of time to be genuine.
I started posting my poems about October 2011 and wasn't even thinking of finding someone I can love in here. To cut the story short, I was so bewitched and captivated by a very brilliant, kind, and awesome man from Sydney (Australia). We communicated through poetry and five months later, when I was supposed to have only three months to live, decided to go meet him. This is the most beautiful love of my life. Divorced from my ex for 25 years and after decided never ever to be with someone ever...but he changed it. We loved each other so much for 17 months...I went there about three times and came here in the US twice. While we ended our relationship for reasons, I can't yet share here, it was the most beautiful love we both have. I met his family and he met mine and it was a love made in heaven. I consider this more than a success story because of what it taught me and made me feel.
Thanks for this opportunity to share and good luck to both of you. Just on the Poetry Corner alone there is about 5 couples that met and are so happily married and we are still communicating very diligently and happily with each other.
