Is It Just Me?

Or is the world really going down the toilet?

Just today, I found out my friend had her car broken into. You have to remember that where I live, that stuff just don't happen. At least that's how it used to be. Even in my tiny community, crime is on the rise. People are out to get other people, its crazy.

I am really starting to think that there are no more safe havens left in the world.

I highly doubt you would know this place, its population is less than 500 and there isn't even a corner store here. The place has made the news a few times though, once for a huge drug bust, and for a minister who caught himself on fire trying to burn down his church.

We have a corner shop which was ceremoniously opened by a 7 foot green cat 20 years ago.
