Memories of 40+ years ago
OK... sharing a bit of my memories. In the late 60's, I briefly lived in Atlanta with my 1st wife. It was late '60s, and I was working at a TV shop in Hapeville,Ga... (Richies TV Service. He had 5 stores in the Atlanta area), and I was the delivery person, and antenna installer.Well, I got a delivery for a TV to the address of Peter Lucia Jr. Only when I got to the address, did I find out who he was. He was the drummer for the group,"Tommy James and the Shondells"! Gold and Platinum records/albums hanging on the walls of the foyer/living-room area. I talked with him, and his wife... note: she was expecting at that time, just a young couple... but I was in awww, by just being there with them... He didn't act any different than anyone else taking delivery of a new TV.
"Crimson and Clover" was recorded in late 1968 in about 5 hours and is one of the first songs recorded on 16-track. Tommy James played most of the instruments, while Mike Vale played bass and Peter Lucia Jr. played drums.
That is just one of my memories of the past, that I will always remember, and even if I come down with Alzheimer, I think I would still smile at the visions in my head, that are still there after 40+ years. Enjoy this as much as I did "way back when"....~JOHN~

Yeah!
Yep! I'm old , but we all get there at some time in our lives (not kidding).
But, hey... along with the good we enjoy in life, we have to pay the "piper" at sometime.
We all move up in the preverbal line of living to the "ticket box"... hahaha
I love my music though, what with 300,000+ music files in this thing called a computer.
Glad you enjoyed this music... and brought back at least some good memories for you.
Have a good weekend...
