The double standards of the US media
Once again, the US media has demonstrated that it cannot be fair in its reporting of events, as it relates to white and coloured people. On Wednesday 17th June in Charleston, South Carolina, a white male enters a historically Black church as members were having Bible Study and opens fire, killing 9 people. During the first 3 hours of searching for the shooter, there was no mention of his race, even though the media outlets were already privy to the fact that he was a white male.
If the shooter had been Black, Hispanic or Middle Eastern, his race would have been clearly pointed out from the get-go. It is the same narrative we saw in the coverage of the Biker's Gang shooting in Texas, the Theatre shooter in Aurora and white kids rioting. When coloured people are involved, you are bound to hear such terminologies as 'thugs, looters, thieves, etc. With white people though, what you hear is ' Oh he is mentally ill/unstable, etc'
Thank God for the advent of social media. Social media continues and will continue to expose the lopsided reporting of the established media outlets like Fox News, CNN, etc. What a shame!

How are you?
Now! In my area/ state. The News Station did say it right off!. After the officers had talk to a witness that was there. And also seen the surveillance camera. And also! After he had left! Later on, there were this Caucasian/ woman who seen him. And she reported his where abouts.
Maybe! Just maybe. They said it on your News Station in your area around about that time.
To The Victim's....
NINE people lost their lives and this is what it comes down to,, just another excuse to point fingers and "call out" individuals or organizations on their BS?!! REALLY?!!
It would've made a lot more sense to post condolences or something else of relevance with regard to the family and friends of the victims..
ENOUGH!!
BTW,Social Media are about the most biased and unreliable Places to get your "News" from!
And in Britain we had the opposite during the London riots where the fact that the rioters were mostly not White was the elephant in the room and the few copycat counter-examples of White rioters was used to conceal what was blatantly Black social unrest from the ghetto.
By the way, I have never considered moving to the US, except for vacation. In the light of recent events and racial profiling of people of colour, I am giving up that idea. Not worth it!
