No Comments Allowed
Hmmm...? I wonder why not?Especially when the topic is in reference to something relevant to a particular individual? In my opinion, that tells me that the OP likes to be in control and his/her post is the only one that matters and prefers not to interact. Of course, that is the OP's perrogotive and I respect that.
I would like to say that I do live by my belief in Karma and I can only TRY to be the best person I can be on a daily basis. This doesn't mean that I lose my right to my opinion. I don't believe that having an opinion, that another doesn't agree with, means that I'm a bad person or that I'm causing harm by stating my opinion. When someone doesn't agree with another's comment, we are all allowed freedom of speech, so why not disagree with that comment? We can, after all, agree to disagree, right? So my point is, that quietly insinuating hypocrity based on one's opinion, is not an act of violence nor should that be considered harmful or hateful or inhuman. I can't see why this would be considered something that would cause bad karma or how a simple comment is determined to be "bad karma" and why not have a mature dialogue if there were questions/comments and welcome communication?
I don't get it...

An absolute preposterous impossibility i know but a pleasant thought nonetheless.
It is their own choice to do so.
I am a lot more concerned about the state this world is in.
Why there are so many unemployed and homeless people.
Why so many school children don't have enough to eat.
My list goes on and on.
I agree with you and we are all human and we are all unique. Not everyone is always going to agree with one another. After all, at the end of the day, no one is perfect and we all have flaws. We all have to accept this fact and do the best we can and that's what makes the world go 'round in my opinion. I just don't understand the logic of one to "call someone out" and then not allow a response/dialogue? Catch my drift?
How have you been? I hope all is well.
EXACTLY!
Well said!
Sure, maybe I will do just that. Thanks for the tip.
That's a valid point.
That's a great attitude and being a good sport!
We are surrounded by them online and offline. There is no where to hide from the wolves. It's unfortunate but true. I'm not claiming to be perfect, by all means, but I TRY my best to be a good person. I am not a malicious person and I am always willing to help the less fortunate however and whenever I can but I also know that I have to be consciencious of my actions and behavior on a regular basis. I know that I have my good days and my bad days just like the rest of us.
Thank you. I constantly go back and forth questioning myself
but now that I am older and wiser, I've learned, more often than not, my instincts are right. As for you to reaffirm, means a lot! You're a good friend, always have been. I appreciate you.
I almost agree. But at the same time we can well be wrong to hold and assert a particular act to be an act of cowardice and may be refuted on different grounds. One ground can be the disposition of the actor considered.
You are a wise man and once again, another great point. Truth is, when a situation as such arises, we will never know the truth or reason and that is ultimately the premeditated intention.
Who know's, maybe it is for the best!? It's not my preference or style, because if I'm going to "call someone out", I would like to hear their explanation simply because of the possibility of having misinterpreted the facts.
Thank you for the compliment.
Yes I don't prefer that demeaning ways either.
You're welcome and thank you for posting your input. I enjoy reading your comments.
I think someone wants to get a message across but doesn't want any comments to detract from their original message...
It could be a seen as cowardice but perhaps the person posting a no comment allowed blog...is someone who is feeling hurt and cannot deal with negative replies but wants to let others know how they feel?...
Anyways it is what it is...
single comment on the Blog, so it does not distract from
the original intent. Check some Blog lists.
Thanks for commenting. I am pretty sure that your first sentence is accurate.
And even though the OP didn't allow comments, I'm sure that he/she HAS seen and PROBABLY is following this very blog.
Also, comments have been posted IN RESPONSE to the OP's original blog/rant - just in a different blog/location.
Obviously, the OP wanted to make a
statement (or rant) that was NOT meant to be very obvious about what or who was being referenced.
Baically, accomplishing remaining somewhat annonymous to ALL CS members and somewhat an "encrypted" message.
The OP IS now aware that the blog has now been addressed by the member who the blog/rant referred to.
The OP has never privately contacted this member directly in regards to the issue, ultimately, avoiding dialogue while remaining "behind the curtains", so to speaK.
Choosing this method is not breaking any CS rules. It is clearly understood that the OP is entitled to use this technique on his/her blog.
Good Morning and thank you but I do not need to post and/or delete anything. Unless, I misinterpreted your last comment, and you were only suggesting an example for me to view?

Okaaay...?
Well, good morning to you regardless.
Good morning and thank you for your comment. I'm ok, really. My curiousity sometimes get's the best of me but I have to remind myself that not everyone operates the same way and just because I don't agree with the OP's tecnique, I can't expect that MY tecnique be one that everyone is required to use.
Also, the OP did not break any CS rules so I have be fair and realise thlat I wouldn't appreciate another CS member dictating my technique either.
With that being said, I am still entitled to have own opinion about whatever and can exercise my right to post my opinion as long as I'm not breaking the rules either.
I'm sure by now, anyone who has been reading my blog, is well aware that I consider it cowardly and selfish not to allow comments especially when the blog is relevant to a specific member
in a free public domain as this. If ones sensitivity is properly
adjusted for free speech, no harm is done. imo.
