Freedom
Not going against what youve said ..But
Wasnt it Saddam Hussein That invaded Iran?
(Which caused Untold death) (and he used Poison Gas On The Iranians)
Didnt he Wipe out The People In southern Iraq?
(And destroyed The Marshlands and Eco Systems There?)
Didnt Saddam Hussein Use Poison Gas On The Kurds In Northern Iraq?(And Killed Innocent Women and Children and Babies?)
And Didnt Saddam Hussein Try To Make The Largest cannon On Earth?
(That Could Have Shot at any country In The World)
And finally
Wasnt It saddam Hussein That Invaded Kuwait?
and With no mercy
His troops Killed Innocent People There?
And Wasnt it his Troops That Shot The animals In The Kuwaiti Zoo There?
And left Some Of Them Dying a slow death?
These maybe Just SOME Of The other reasons That There Was An Invasion Of Iraq
Oh Yeah
And wasnt it Saddam Hussein Who..In retreat
Set all The Oil wells ablaze In Kuwait
and poisoned Our air and skies For months To Come?
Not To mention The pollution It caused To The Persian Gulf
(So maybe All of This was Just "ANOTHER REASON"
For The Invasion Of Iraq)............detective
AS I remember the west was arms dealing to Saddam and fell out with him over the oil too, so that might have been the reason he did what he did to make a point? He was not a nice man, but neither are the war mongers that continue to have wars and people have been brainwashed by scaremongering tactics by these governments for decades professor
Teena, I wholeheartedly agree with you. Any organization needs control and direction in implementing services and goals whatever those maybe.

There is not a society that is not governed by politics. Our families is a typical example of any organize system. There are rules, there are those that implement those rules and must be kept in order.

It is impossible to conceive let alone practice a unit of any organization without politics. It doesn't have to be corrupt but yes power comes with all those bad attributes and sometimes more often than not, it is bad.

On religion, it must be an innate part of life. Why I say this? Because, it is again, an organization where people generally find solace and refuge and the need to socially feel the warmth of belonging. Most religions are voluntary, at least to my knowledge with my Catholic religion, you can opt to join or leave, nothing is forced. Now there are evils in this world and in our lives. We do have the idea of what is a perfect society, yet nothing is quite known as to where that is.

In anyrate, like you said, it is good. It is wonderful. But as perfect sans evil and bad, we just have to take the good from the bad.

Why I say this? Look at Somalia, there is no established political power and what a chaos, what an anarchy.

Great blog Teena.
Freedom, the response of Nam, goes very well with me.

You are not going back to the origin of the involvement of Bush.

When Saddam invaded Kuwait, killed and slaughtered the people, there was an international obligation of the world step out and do its job. Based on the NATO and UN, that is the lifeline that calls for the protection of the underdog. If the US didn't step in, what do you think is the next?

Now when finally the war is over, of course, US left the place which created the vacuum to give rise to the ISIS, which is now the current challenge of the world.

War is part of human life over and over again. Why? Greed and power, arrogance and just plain survival dictate these events that is devastating human kind. When will it end? Anyone who can answer this will get my absolute respect. In my religion and belief, I personally believe truly that when God ends it.teddybear bouquet
Lina, I'm afraid a can't agree with you on this subject. Firstly the war in Iraq was illegal, because the UN did not back it and no WMD was found, but that was given as the reason for invading Iraq, so the invasion was based on a lie.

Hans Blix wanted more time to find the, so called weapons, but he was not given it, because that was not the reason Bush and Blair wanted to invade.

Did they find the weapons? Of course not, but the oil was safe.

So many innocent people died from that illegal war, but, Bush and Blair have never been tried for war crimes by international courts? They are war criminals and justice has not been done.

How much money did those two crooks make off that war and how do you think they made all that money? The oil they took control of and sold on to oil companies, that's how.

The Instability created in Iraq was caused by the illegal war and that is what has created Isis.

The real reason for the war in Iraq was to protect the oil and not the citizens of Iraq.

Friend I know your patriotic, but don't let that cloud your judgement and evade the reality that the war was illegal and wrong.

Human beings are the only one's that can stop what they are doing and sadly too many evil people have the power over life and death.
hole Mmmmm...

But the suspension points are very very pertinent to these topics...

Happy New year people !

It is okay L, you can disagree with me and that is alright. You are reading from a different book. I considered one time really that war is all for profit and greed, but when it comes down to accountability, what prevails are those that can be proven.

In my book, it is very evident that when the US stepped in for the Middle East crises in the 80s, it was because of the havoc caused by Saddam Hussein to Kuwait. True, global relations on oil during those times were prevalent, interest on those needs has to be protected. Now when it was over the US pulled out and to my knowledge, this created the ISIS. On the side, Russia invaded Afghanistan and we helped them by training the rebels which is the Alqaeda, now turned against us during the right after the 90s and here we are fighting them with the ISIS.

Now if you insist that they are war criminals there has to be a tribunal by the UN to do that, but so far there is non. Meantime, I don't want to insist on what I know and you insist on what you know and it will not end.

All I hope right now is to stop these non sense killing and whether war or terrorism.wave
