Significance of Easter
Hello EveryoneDoes Easter have any religious significance for you personally?
For most of my life it was about chocolate eggs and a few days off work but, following an unexpected religious experience recently, this year I am looking at it through different eyes.
So, who else here is enjoying Easter in a religious way?

Just a normal day on the beach walking the dog and staying away from the madding crowd.
To me it's about being with my family and time to share with each other!
Technically, the video is correct. The passing of one day/night is saturday, the 2nd is sunday and the 3rd is monday.
But why introduce this distraction to the OP's blog?
So, what's your experience?
We in the pews at the back are waiting to hear.
I was in a very bad place having lost much of what I had held dearly.
One night I awoke and felt God was close. No voices or anything like that. Just a sense that things were no longer as bad as they had seemed.
It was odd as I had never had any belief in a God before and, in fact, would have described myself as being in the first row of the scoffers.
Since then I have started to attend church and it's given me a new look on life.
I was brought up in a Taoist/Buddhist household. Attended church occasionally in my early teens coz I had to accompany my maternal great-grandma who was a staunch Christian,
Easter plays a very insignificant role throughout my life except for those yummy Easter Bunny chocolates
Yes it does! Jesus went to the cross and took all sins: past, present, future for all mankind! To be saved, all you have to do is invite Christ into your life, ask for forgiveness of your sins, and trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior in your life!
Happy Easter Sunday everyone.
