Graceful Exit

When someone in a dating site says, "I want to know you more," common sense tells that she/he is interested to you either the pictures you post or the profile you presented. Then constant communications takes place. However if they found someone new and more appealing they just abandoned you without a trace and here you are thinking what happen to him/her...is he/she sick or more worst dead! Anyway, I think it cost you nothing to have a graceful exit to tell someone the reason of ending your contact to that person for I'm sure that make you an honest and respectful kind of human being...but sadly they just say who cares!!!

I could not agree more. More people should own up to the truth rather than hide from it. peace
I agree it would reduce some of the frustrations of finding a partner I suppose, I have rearranged the idiom: Those that matter care and those that don't care don't matter...(Those that mind, don't matter...Those that matter, don't mind)

So should be more polite it would help

I thought about your concern. One explanation from their perspective for not making the graceful exit is that it is not easy and viable to be so upfront with a decent person like you. Maybe they care in their own way and don’t want to hurt your feelings. If something hasn’t developed into a serious thing, then it is hard to come up with concrete words to announce the end of it. It’s just my point of view. But, I fully understand your concern
I agree with you all,,,, I replied back even after I have read their profile and see that we are not compatible in some areas but I just did not want to keep them hanging on (she read it but did not reply what gives) so every one cant be like us,, nice and sensitive to how others feel angel
