Just 'Thinking Out Loud'.....

Ok, so, Its the 13th 'anniversary' of the day one of my best friends passed away & what was a huge 'life & spritual' eye-opener for me! I've experienced alot of 'losses' in life...many close family members, dear, dear friends, a husband, and i've 'learned' that if you love & care about someone, you should always let them know..We never know how much 'time' we have..in life OR with them...So i 'tell it like it is' when it comes to saying ' I love you'..I'm a 'hugger' too..if i care about you, i will hug you & tell you every time i see you or talk to you on the phone or whatever...but i wonder why people sometimes either 'run' (if its a man) thinking i'm 'proposing' or something...or other people 'get the wrong idea' & ASSume there's something 'going on' between us? This is one reason I have a very 'select few' friends..male & female...I know there are others out there like me, and i just get so aggravated by the people who dont 'understand' why i am this way, but usually, once i tell them this true story (which was the biggest 'eye opener' for me, to never let anyone you love NOT know how you feel) Most people 'get' me.. Ok, A few years ago, I was at what my friends & I called 'music' (every few days, a bunch of my musician friends & I would get 2gether & 'jam'..eat dinner or have a barbeque...etc) & I love these people very much..So when i leave, i hug everyone & tell them 'I love you'. Well, on one occassion, a close friend (but a shy man) asked me why do i do that. Well, this was one of those 'moments' when you can just 'blow it off' & say 'i dont know, i just do' or, in this case, I looked him in the eyes (he was 6'4 & i'm 5' nuthin, lol :) & said 'because I love you guys & want you all to know how much you mean to me' ! Not 2 weeks later, he passed away (at only 47 yrs young) of a heart attack..But this was the 'pivotal' moment in life for me, when i got to his wifes house (i was 1 of the 1st to be notified of his 'passing') SHE took ME in her arms & thanked me for telling her husband I loved him & that he meant something to me, (because after that last time i saw him, they 'discussed' it & he confided that, besides her, NONE of his friends had ever told him they loved him!) Can you IMAGINE? So, if we're friends on here & i tell you 'i love you' (especially you GUYS :) Please dont 'run' or think i 'want you' (because, in THAT case, You'll KNOW the 'difference'...as i'm hoping SOMEONE on here does! :) So, i'll end by simply saying 'I Love you, my friends!! xo <3 SuZi
