Know when to shout Know when to shut up!
As I was backing into a parking space last week a guy tried to cut into the same space behind me. I hit the brakes, too late we collided! He was in a rant and accused me of backing into him. He was very verbal and began to get physical with me. I took a step backward and he advanced on me! I told him to back off and he persisted. A cop was driving by and saw the argument escalating and stopped to intervene! The guy was all in a rage and was warned several times to keep quiet! With in a couple of minutes the other guy was in cuffs headed to the back of the cruiser. A report was taken, I was told to find another parking place or wait for the wrecker to move the other car. The damage to my car was non existent with a 2' scrape down the side of the other car. After the wrecker left and I took the parking place, I could see the other guy in the back of the cruiser prepared for his ride downtown. A bit of verbal abuse directed at the cop along with his verbal rants toward me had landed him a disorderly conduct, interfering with an investigation or resisting arrest, who knows? The rest of my afternoon was incident free and I like it that way. Being a jerk can be detrimental to not only your health but to your finances.

I'm normally calm except when I'm being driven around by my daughter who just got her driving licence
I think all of us must go for anger management class once every few years, including moi!
That's what I told my Biker friend. Even though you are a very careful and full of control person, others might not be. Even though you usually are calm, other people's abusive words might provoke you.
Glad you're ok.
