RE: What a speech
The problems within the World we live in are basically all religion based ,whether we care to recognise that or not.
There is so much hate in today's World and if you look into the roots and cause you will find it's about cultures and religion. The "troubles "in Ireland were basically religious based with the Catholics repressed by the Protestants. .Islam is the 2nd largest religion in the U.K. so nothing new there. World War 2 was also an excuse to get rid of Jews. Hindu and Muslims clash in India. India and Pakistan have problems over religion. Christians persecuted in Sudan. The war in Gaza etc. etc. etc.
This is just a small percentage of the problems within the World.
Compassion and humanity went out the window years ago sadly.
What a speech
Only a few years ago an English blogger told me plans on destroying churches removing graves and headstones, allowing to pave way to assistant immigration.
Thinking I knew the English better, told her such would NEVER be ALLOWED to happen.
How wrong was I

2. Paul was forbidden by the Holy Spirit from going to Asia and instead carried that message to Europe.
We may Believe whatever we want about the Christian Message, but the events are undeniable historical Fact.

At this point, 'bout the only way to undo all this migrating would be to invent a time machine, go back to circa 1425 and convince Prince Henry The Navigator that setting Europe on course for the Age Of Exploration & Discovery might not be such a great idea.
Lacking that, people moving around the globe at a rate unimaginable not all that long ago is simply the world that now exists.

She's wrong about one thing, she says these things didn't happen before immigration, they certainly did.
Other countries made mistakes in handling immigrants, mainly by not insisting that migrants adopt the culture of their new homes, the Americans seem to be better at it, by having kids pledge allegiance and things like that. I hope we follow the American model rather than the European one.

Technology is a wonderful invention and therein lies the truth.
So many people are taken in by the written word and sadly fall for other people's lies.How easy it is to dupe others with technology as well we know when you hear about all the scams by both men and women. I'm actually stunned by the amount of people who have lost everything in the search for love.
It beggars belief that people can be that lonely and frankly desperate that they feel the need to "buy" love.
Flattery is a wonderful thing and yes it's easy to get swept away on a tide of emotion . Dreams are one thing but reality should never be that far away that we lose our logic.

Question of the week: My atheist colleagues frequently bring up the “incest” during the time of Adam and Eve (I believe they mean in the generation of Cain, Abel, and Seth). What would your thoughts on this be?
My answer: If all humanity is descended from one man and one woman, as the Bible claims, then one of Adam and Eve’s sons had to have married one of Adam and Eve’s daughters. Evidently, God tolerated brother-sister marriages during the Genesis era. This tolerance is affirmed in the account of Abraham. Abraham was married to his half-sister (Genesis 20:12).
This tolerance did not last, however. In the Levitical law, intercourse between a brother and a sister was strictly prohibited. Indeed, it is prohibited in virtually every nation and culture today.
There is a genetic reason for the initial tolerance and the later intolerance. Animal breeding experiments show that one can have a brother mate with a sister for about twenty consecutive generations before there is a significant risk of propagating a serious genetic defect. On the human level, this became a problem for the Egyptian pharaohs. After many generations of the pharaohs marrying their sisters, the pharaohs became afflicted with hemophilia.
In Deuteronomy 7:15 and Deuteronomy 28:58–60, Moses tells the Israelites that if they obey the laws God has given to them they will avoid many of the diseases and afflictions of the Egyptians. Evidently, what God had in mind included genetic disorders. To avoid such genetic disorders, in certain parts of the world and even in the United States it would be wise to ban not only brother-sister marriages but also marriages between first cousins.

In this world of technology I often wonder why we feel people are exactly what they say they are, maybe because we crave the illusion of them.
I'm usually suspicious of the opposite. Professionally shot photos or ones altered by Artificial intelligence making a person look better than in real life. The same goes for perfectly written profiles.
That creates a false hope that 'Maybe this person is really what I'm looking for'
