A skulk of foxes...also called a leash...new words for the Vierk Curmudgeon...

Mom, I think, and six kits. Walking with Bravo this AM, I noticed what looked like a large hare upright on hind legs, near brush and high grass in a neighbor's yard. Of course, useless hunter dog took his good time before he saw anything.
Walking further, I saw it was a red fox, and nearby were six kits, romping about. Mom was on guard and staring right at us, defiantly, and by this time, Bravo was tugging to be on the chase. Of course, I didn't let him, and just then another neighbor stopped by on the way to the first neighbor's house, for morning tea, and to watch the antics together through the windows. Old lady friendship stuff.
Now, from time to time, even in this partially rural small urban town, we see critters galore. Moose and deer have walked through the back 40 here, as have foxes, and many others. While the red tailed hawks, ospreys and bald eagles circle-hunt from above. Smaller birds chase the larger crows away, apparently after a raid on the nest. And we often see new families of voles, moles, mice and chipmunks, not to mention the grey and red squirrels about. The last are particularly dangerous, even deadly at times. When they get into an attic, they chew and short out the romex, setting off a fatal house fire. Can't make this stuff up, folks.
So I enthusiastically called the ex next door to inform her. She has often had to shoe away adult foxes, while her two cats, Miss Angel and Miss Lilly, now sadly gone, were outside, hunting on their own. The reception was one of interest, but not without criticism. "Sure, they are cute, but will soon be hunting cats and small dogs". "And of all people, YOU should know that they are a reservoir of rabies"
Now, while we were an item, I would have countered, perhaps with a few choice words of my own. After all, I've written here how, in these urban settings, for a variety of reasons, cats are best kept indoors. Farm felines are a different matter.
But I pride myself on not being drawn into a fray, with great potential for escalation, and never a clear victor, as many here will know. And, I just hope it all carries over to the next intimate relationship. Can old dogs really ever learn new tricks?
Woof woof.

"silent scream” lyrics

Twenty four and he believes for
Sure he's got it made
Fame is here for good and
Looks will never fade
He doesn't know
The game is never over 'till
The cards have all been played

Eighty three and still he feels
His best is yet to come
He believes that youth is
Wasted on the young
He's alone
The only dream he ever has
Is being with someone

Love you when your standing tall
But nobody knows you when your falling
All you have to do is call
But nobody ever hears the silent scream

Christmas came and went again
But still nobody came
Staring at her wedding photo in a frame
She's alone
We should hope the loss of memory
Helps to ease the pain

Memories, moments you recall
We should be remembered for the
Greatest of them all
You can't begin to live someone
Else's life
Or you're own will pass you by

Oh, who's to know
Maybe we can learn a thing or
Two from everyone

Politics, as usual....

...SCOTUS Chief Justice Roberts, a Bubba Bush Court appointee, again sides with the four lockstep lefties of the Court. He now supports lesser professional requirements on physicians performing clinical fetus murder (CFM), in Louisiana, after instead having dissented on a similar case in Texas a few years ago.
Beginning with a similar move in support of allowing the confiscatory fees/fines in The Obama Unaffordable Care Act to be designated as a part of taxes, many wonder what's up?
But fret not, fascist, xenophobe and racist Trump supporters. Gun and Bible toting irredemables all. Immediately after the decision was out, top Dems expressed concern that it could (definitely will) be used in support of Trump's reelection. Certainly by energizing his formidable base, but more importantly, with the near 10% of important swing undecided voters, who once again will decide the vote. Many are against CFM. One more Trumpster member of the court, replacing dream time Ms. Ginsburg, and it could be bye bye Rowe v. Wade.
Astute wonks wonder, if perhaps this is therefore a backhanded move in support of Our Brilliant and Dazzling President Trump. Justice Roberts, long a member of the ruling classes in the swamp, is mindful of his place in herstory, and is pretty clever, in his own right.
This is one of many such powerful political tropes that will be used to assure four more years, a better court, and completion of the many now only partially kept election promises. And at little expense to Justice Roberts, as he put emphasis on Stare Decisis, re Texas, in his write up.
Slicko. VERY slick.

Some musings, on how it probably was pulled off....

...As I've said, forget about the small stuff. Hanging chads and so on. Turning away the odd voter who hasn't voted yet. Only 500 votes in question enough for a consideration by the SCOTUS. Only one (Florida) State. No,no,no.
In the age of IT, with voting equipment that is fully accessible, even from an off site location, many teens in their mom's basement could easily hack on in. If they can hack the Pentagon, well, and even major corporate headquarters. Much easier for someone with a machine official shop manual. And for a company corporate tech, well, a piece of cake.
But strategery was also involved, to make things far less suspicious.
So, also no need to alter votes everywhere, in fact, this is unadvised. Merely select the half dozen counties, in so many swing States, each with a major city of a million or so. Make over half of these predominantly negro in population. So in the unlikely case of being detected, all can cry RACISM.
Now, round midnight, with Red Man Bad far in the lead, it's then known just how much fiddling is needed, to come out with ten or twenty thousand more votes for sniffy, creepy, real racist, lunchbox Uncle Joe.
Then the fun work begins. Sure, the whole thing could be arranges by some clever hip keystrokes. And with unmarked vans arriving to election central sights in the wee hours. With access to monitoring personnel illegally barred.
No, the GOP/Dem local voting ratios are first gleaned from public records, so as to better mimic trends, while still assuring narrowly massaged victories for the crooks' side.

And I don't even know what I'm talking about. Just imagination, and inbred sociopathy.

Oh, not this,...

... Potus pen instant amnesty ain't flying. So glad O. man bad was able to get some 300 new judges at various levels into orofice. Often for life. Not to mention 3 new Associate J's on the Scotus. Policy changes via courts can go both ways. Even murderous ones. R v. W, much?
And amazingly, just one of his many important well kept promises. And He was as far from a Swamp expert, as a Potus can get. Not too shabby. For a moron.
Senator Dr. Paul is on fire as well. Our Maine Senator Susie looks not so, but really, she's playing the lefties like a fiddle. As did the Turtle, on the filibuster. And Texas now still able to deport criminal illegal immigrants. Much more. Other states. HR 1, HR 350. Changes in corrupt election policy at the State level, as well.

Like a red neck fiddle. The sleeping middle America has smelled the coffee, and is waking up. Delicious. That's what harassment and persecution does. Not to mention stolen erections.
Stay tuned. How nice that things go back and forth in democracies. In one party states---never surprises.

Wein auf Bier, das rate ich Dir...

...Bier auf Wein, das laesst man sein. Learned in my drunken student days in Freiburg. OK to drink some wine after starting with beer, but not the other way around.
Urban legend, perhaps. But I found it to be true. Burp Burp.

Flux...

I was doing some model aircraft maintenance this weekend, specifically changing the battery connectors. A fully charged battery passes 5 amps to the motor in 5 minutes. it's enough current to make the entire system hot. The motor gets burning hot and the wires in the system get really warm. If there is corrosion on the battery connector, the chance of it failing are great. Keeping that in mind, I changed out the connectors for a model I haven't flown in a few months.
Normally, I pay a friend to 'wrench' on my helicopters. He's got 20 years experience with helicopters and drones, doing repairs for the other pilots. This time, I decided to do the work myself.
The tools I had in my Miami house were all boxed when I sold the place and are now stored on the back patio of my condo. I had to dig around to find the soldering iron, solder and flux.

I purchased a bag of connectors from a friend who changed systems and no longer needs that style. Before starting, I watched 2 YouTube videos about wiring up this style connector and both videos had the same sequence. I did a test with some of the same thickness wire to see if I remembered how to solder. It's been a few years... I should remember this, right?

The first test failed because the heat from the soldering pencil was marginal and I had to hold it to the connector for a long time to get the solder to melt. I had it in a clip like the video, but the metal clip acts like a heat sink pulling the heat away from the connector.
I decided to take a piece of wood and drill a small hole in it the size of the connector.
Pressing the connector into the hole was perfect as the solder was now melting when it didn't before.

Electrical solder is extruded mix of tin and lead with the center core having rosin to help it stick to the the metal you are joining. It difficult cases, there is a chemical flux paste that improves the flow of the solder. I used a small amount of flux when adding solder to the wire (tinning) and some in the depression of the connector.

Making several tries, I got the 3rd set to my liking and snapped the connectors to the cap.
I owe the success of this product to the flux. Yeah, I know when foreigners say another word quickly it sounds like flux.
laugh

Embedded image from another site

The only down-side to the project is /are fumes from the solder & flux being toxic.
I had a fan blowing the smoke away but the next morning I got up with a bad case of asthma.

I think you're healthy and so you won't mind....part 1

Don't worry
Its a series
I start from the first country of the first world.
But that super power or, in my words the so called super power, miserably failed to deliver.
And wow what a paradox! , that super power doesn't know an iota of, what is happening around in the world.
Or by any chance, may be they're knowing it, they are ignoring it to turn this monument into a desert.
Thanks in advance....for whoever who peep in th.

The intelligentsia of USA knows it very well how to fix the bug. And they did it.

Last time they were to oust the Clinton thing and so they installed the corrupt software. They knew that this software has bugs but they had to install it.
doh
Likewise they had to make another wrong choice because they were to get rid of the corrupt software. They hardly had any other option.
cool
And hopefully someday they would be provided with a better choice.
dunno how and when?
