Philipsenonline today!

The exhaustion is real!

I have been focused on work these past few weeks. So much so, that I'm exhausted on a Tuesday evening. Today was a very hectic day.

30 minutes before we were due to be done with the orders, we had 13 orders left to pack. These orders ranged from a tiny piece of party item to a full on USA party. Combine that with a screaming kid in the store, and you had the type of environment that I tend to avoid. High stress and a screaming child.

Nevertheless, we finished at 10 minutes past 4, so we were only 10 minutes late. I hope tomorrow is going to be slower. On a positive note, I'm super tired, so it's bedtime in a bit.

I still love it where I am, so I am not going to quit anytime soon!

Individual Carbon Footprint Tracker Being Developed

According to unelected Alibaba Group president J. Michael Evans boasting at the World Economic Forum an "individual carbon footprint tracker" to monitor what you buy, what you eat, and where/how you travel is being developed. I wonder if this tracker features will include automatically telemetering tracked data to government intelligence offices.

"Evans explained, “We have set up on our platform products that will show what are the carbon emissions if you’re buying them. So, people can look at what the carbon emission effect is of buying a certain product.”" The tracker will incentivize people to do the right thing.

During the same WEF session in Davos, L’Oréal CEO Nicolas Hieronimus referred to this type of behavioral manipulation[/size] as “consumer empowerment.”

Is this Carbon Footprint Tracker a good thing or not?

Why do so many Europeans, especially those living on islands, want to be American cowboys?

Seems like, even though there was only a wild wild west in Hollywood, so many people on other continents love the American cowboy culture. Maybe they've watched too many popular western tv shows like Yellowstone? confused

The Most Famous Serial Killers In America And Their Twisted Crimes
The trial of Ted Bundy was the first time in history that a trial was completely televised.
The killings of Ed Gein served as inspiration for the movies Psycho and Silence of the Lambs.
Albert Fish sent a letter to the mother of one of his victims, describing exactly how he killed her.

American
history

is filled with many wondrous achievements and amazing people that left their mark on the country, and also the entire world. However, there are two sides two every coin, and some of the most gruesome crimes ever committed have happened in the United States.

The FBI coined the term serial killer during the 1970s, because of all the killings that were happening across the country. Some of the most known serial killers in the world have performed heinous acts all over the country, and this article will present the ones that were considered the most famous.

7. Ted Bundy

Let us start things off with a name most of you have heard numerous times. Ted Bundy was not what you would consider that a serial killer might look like. He was well educated, handsome, and described by many as incredibly charming. This made his brutal killings even more surprising.

Bundy was raised in a weird family, without a father, and believed his whole life that his grandmother was, in fact, his mother and that his mother was his sister. His childhood and adolescence were challenging, but he managed to graduate from the University of Washington, after which his murderous spree began. His victims were mostly attractive female students, and his first murder was committed in Seattle in 1966.

He killed several more women throughout the next few years and was eventually arrested. However, it doesn’t stop there. He managed to escape police custody twice, moved to Florida and continued killing there. He killed several members of a sorority there, and his final crime is especially gruesome - he raped and murdered a 12-year old girl. He was finally arrested for good and became a media sensation because his trial was fully televised, the first time in history that has happened. He was sentenced to death and executed in 1989.

The Hawk

Damn hawk in my community that really wants to eat my 3 lb Chi. It swoops down to face me standing over Bella and when I turn around the Hawk is hanging still in the air right behind my back. I scoop the dog up from the ground in between my legs and yell. My voice sends the bird flying away.

Now I walk over Bella when she needs to do her business which annoys her but I'm scared not to. The bird must have been in the trees because I can see them in the air but this one just swooped into my vision from not far away. Can't tell you how fast my heart was beating and now how extra cautious I am. I wish I could train her to use a potty pad in the house but at 17 she is not much interested in learning something new and of course she was totally UNaware of her danger.

Why does England still have a lame monarchy?

If the royal family makes so much money for the island why don't he islanders have two monarchies? Get rid of the protected worthless royals and let England become the 51st state of the USA and become something valuable in the world for a change.

All types of Firearms should be allowed in Europe

europeans wouldn't need nato and the usa could take lost money spent on bullshit nato defense for getting mental help for all the troubled people here. Some of the money could be used to fight the war on drugs from china entering through biden's southern port of drug entry in texas. Let europe defend itself. Arm europe to protect America.
