its not about dancing in the rain...in the lash of lightning blinded by its light...drenched in rain...enshrined in this cosmic temple... flying up kissing the littlest star..Receiving moon's glory on my face.. merging into the hues of twilight sometimes crimson sometimes even white.. swiftly flying away from sun's orange scorching.. snuggling in grey clouds..flying into the rush of streams then fall with its gush...caressing a petal all velvet mauve. singing along inside.. in tune.. in a full throat-ed bird's breast overflowing bursting.... into a symphony all silver and light...
ever in fervent obeisance... in adoration to the Creator
to be blessed with the gift of sight.... ah!

Saw an eagle, for the second time in this fjord. Is it a young couple trying to establish itself in a new location? If so – that’d be totally awesome.

Saw herons and swans in a large number. Saw as well the couple with 2 cygnets, that I’ve followed since they were newly hatched in the end of July. They are growing contour feathers now and changing from grey-brown to white.

Turned the corner of Jönsborg and saw 2 roe deer: they stood still for a while – two beautiful silhouettes against the grey skies – and then disappeared behind the top of the hill delicately moving their thin legs, like ballerinas on pointes.

And on the other side – the absolute joy and the meaning of the tour: a seal was lying leisurely in the middle of the sea. Enjoying the mild weather of +5 C, almost no wind, some drizzle and light fog. Lying on a flat stone covered with water due to high tide. Like walking on water, but cooler. Stopped paddling and dug up my phone. It didn’t mind. Was drifting towards it with elements, it didn't mind. Took a few pictures, it didn’t mind. Didn’t want to disturb and kept myself at a reasonable distance. The first seal for four weeks.

Didn’t see any sea stars today... well, high tide. Another eye candy to look forward to.

I made this into a virtual t-shirt in SL because I love the irony! Please don't make me explain...

I've grown quite weary of advertising but in a capitalist society, I understand the need. I've created many satire ads for fictitious products under an umbrella company I named SCAMCO. Some were cynical, some silly, some purposefully hypocritical etc. and it was easy to use the most predictable advertising angles to that end, like "4 out of 5 dentists...", "New and improved", "all natural", etc.

I have dish soap that makes this claim: "50% less scrubbing". I'll not go into why that's silly, but I digress...

Ads now look like news stories, or at least try to. South Park devoted an entire episode to it. Some are essentially tabloid click bait. The internet is saturated with it/them. You can hardly hover your mouse over a web page without getting pop-ups!

The irony for me is that the overall quality of advertising is suffering (quality advertising...talk about an oxymoron!). It's downright shoddy in some cases. Bad photoshopped images, bad punctuation and spelling, in a word: unprofessional...which (finally) brings me to the point of this nonsense.

We're now getting more ads here and one of them jumped out at me NOT because I have any interest in the product, but because the hand model's fake nails are...
