A cab driver picked up a nun.
She got into the cab, and noticed that the VERY handsome cab driver wouldn’t stop staring at her.
She asked him why he was staring. He replied: “I have a question to ask, but I don’t want to offend you.”
She answered, “My son, you cannot offend me. When you’re as old as I am and have been a nun as long as I have, you get a chance to see and hear just about everything. I’m sure that there’s nothing you could say or ask that I would find offensive.”
“Well, I’ve always had a fantasy to have a nun kiss me.”
“Well, let’s see what we can do about that: No. 1, you have to be single, and No. 2, you must be Catholic,” she responded.
The cab driver, very excited, said, “Yes, I’m single and Catholic!”
“OK,” the nun said. “Pull into the next alley.”
The nun fulfilled his fantasy with a kiss that would make a hooker blush.
But when they got back on the road, the cab driver started crying.
“My dear child,” said the nun, “Why are you crying?”
“Forgive me but I’ve sinned. I lied and I must confess; I’m married and I’m Jewish.”
The nun said, “That’s OK. My name is Kevin and I’m going to a costume party"

Is it possible to move the earth to a different orbit farther away from the sun before then? The sun is predicted to get real big before it dies in five billion years and goes dwarf.

I think the task of moving the earth should be given to Bill Nye and the people who will successfully rebuild the Jewish holy temple on the original Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Israel.

Easy choice for me to give up tv because I seldom watch tv anymore.

Good Day to the world. I'm a newbie to CS but an experienced blogger looking for a place to blog for the theraputic value it provides me for free. I'm a boomer fixing to retire and move from Orlando to Tampa very soon. Ugh the move isn't pleasant but what a happy camper I will be when it is behind me.

I've lived in southern CA, Seattle WA and Orlando, FL. I was born in Tampa, FL where I grew up, returning now to help out my aging parents who live two miles from the home I bought to retire in. My siblings all live in the general area so it is a family effort.

I call my grand daughters, the granddivas because they are both grown divas! One moved to Santa Monica the other is here. I have a nine year old grandson that I just acquired last year and he is over the top cute and I love him dearly.

It is still tax season, I'm an accountant and towards the end of the season, all of us in my office are dragging our butts. I've worked for this company for over 20 years, was part owner for awhile until we sold to the current boss, a young woman that I dearly love and admire. It is a bittersweet retirement for me as I want to retire but I have leaving my beloved co-workers and job so I'll stay on part time and work from home, it's a sweet deal.

A friend recommended this site, I'm waiting on another friend from Canada to start blogging because her blogs are extremely well written. She is truly a lady with a passion and I look forward to her blogging as well.

Oh one other trait about me that anyone that knows me vouches for...I have always been bonded to a dog throughout my life, some big some little. I was widowed young and had big dogs to help me protect my children. In Orlando I have an apartment size dog, a tiny 3 pound Chi (chihuahua) that NEVER barks, can't stand little yappy dogs. My dogs have gone to work with me everyday for over 30 years, I just lucked out (like winning the lottery) on that perk. Her name is Bella, when I move to the home in Tampa I am thinking about rescuing a bigger dog for security reasons plus Bella is very old.
That's me and that's all folks.

Well it's Friday, the day is starting off good. I was thinking of putting up a blog and thought about it for a while then said to myself.....I GOT NOTHING...

I have already paid for the space and just got nothing to blog, so if you would like to put up a free blog do so it's on me.

I need to VENT!!!!!!! Because I'M MAAAAD!! ??????
I just went to Woolworths to pick up a few things. I'm waiting in the queue and I dropped a R100 note (yep that's me trying to hold everything because I didn't want a trolley). The lady in front of me picked it up. I thanked her and held my hand out, and she said, "The things found on earth are kept by the collector," and walks away.
??I was like oh HELL NO!! I looked at the person behind me standing in line, they couldn't believe it either.... this can't be real life right now, right?!
So I took a deep breath and I turned back towards the lady/thief/or whatever you wanna call her and as I approached her I said, "Do I look like I'm in the mood?! Let's not play games. Go ahead and give me back my money."
She had the nerve to ignore me completely and TRIED to walk away from me... SOOOOO, of course, I left everything and followed her to the car park as I was calling the police (because of course somebody's about to go to jail... not sure who at this point though, her or me). She was almost running at this point to get away from me, which was the first sign of real intelligence ?? this lady had shown. ?? When she got to her car she put her bags on the ground trying to quickly get her boot open.
I was boiling at this point! I decided that her “finders keepers" rule just presented the perfect opportunity for a great teachable moment... SO... I ran full speed ( probably not that fast), and grabbed her shopping bags, and headed to my car yelling, "The things found on earth are kept by the collector!"
I got in my car ignoring her every attempt to get my attention. I was outta line I'll admit, but she was too. I was MAD ?? but I had a sense of satisfaction at the same time. Anyone who knows me knows that I've never stolen anything so this is completely out of character for me. But anyway I get home and open the bags and what did I find?
3 packs of fillet steak
3 kgs of wild caught salmon
2 kgs of potatoes
And...
A six pack of Heineken
I can't help but think to myself... WOW! Not bad for R100 ??????
In all seriousness.... this is just a joke to see who would read the entire post.
