Good Morning.
It was absolutely gorgeous. We could not have asked for nicer weather. We took a walk up to the Sacre Couer at night. I have an awesome photo of the church. A little scary though with the white lighting against the walls and the leafless black trees in the forefront. Walking up reminded me a bit of the stairs scene from 'The Exorcist' when Father Damian takes the big tumble.

Hey Marti,
May should be lovely. Will you be going to other cities or stay in Paris? As Phoenix said though, be careful in the train station areas. There were a lot of people who just seemed to be hanging around unecessarily. I found that a bit creepy.
I was terribly naughty though. I have many food allergies including gluten allergies (no wheat products) and I could not resist eating the bread and other French cuisine I cannot have. The pain has now set in.
I am normally soooooo disciplined but completely lost it there.Ah well. Have a great day Marti.
Imma thanks for the tip. As i said been there already. My eldest daughter lives and works in Paris. This time will be visiting other interesting places outside Paris too.
Can't wait as it's gonna be with my other 2 daughters. We haven't done this together since they were all young.

immanuelle: Hope it is warming up for you a bit Shot. Den Haag right now is sunny with clear skies, cool but calm with no winds. It's gorgeous.
Thanks, it is great here too. Warm and sunny and the snow melting fast. Since there was about 2 ft. of snow, the water is fairly gushing from the eaves. I put the snow chains on my car yesterday and am taking them off again today!
Glad you had a great time in Paris. I lived there for a couple of years, many moons ago. France is one of my favourite countries.
2 of my daughters are currently in Paris staying with friends. Curiously, although they are quite close and are planning to move into a flat together soon (they both are in London) they are on completely separate visits to Paris!

There's a new mall in Vidin too, small but nice. I shop in the Pikadili supermarket there because they have stuff that I need such as Patak's curry paste (but not Vindaloo unfortunately) and HP sauce! Which you possibly have no idea about!
The snow arrived here too and I needed my snow chains yesterday, but it's now thawing again.

We`re having "Coyote" weather here! Howling gales last night slamming the shutters open and closed, and this morning thick snow drifting down! (after a week of nice sunshine). By midday the sun was out again, snow all melted and I imagined an afternoon lounging in the sun outside ............ After lunch the snow was back! Now its gone again, sun is shining, skies are blue ......

Yes,the weirdest Weather,last Night snowing,this Morning snowing,Lunchtime going crazy with Snow,at two o' Clock practically all gone!Must be an early April!

We are having the same weather here. The extra here is that they are all wrapped up in a freezing weather dunno 4 or 5 degree here
