Do you believe in miracles? ( Archived) (88)

I don't pray each day. I do pray when I want Him to pay extra attention to someone who is going through a hard time. I prayed like crazy when my mother was dieing from cancer. She was told "any day now" but she lasted 5 years. Is that a miracle or were the drugs she was taking the miracle.

Yes, I believe in miracles...and yes, I've seen them. I held each of my sons in my arms after they were born, and knew I'd just experienced a miracle. Life is a miracle.

Ahhhh! That kind of miracle

I guess they are all around us every single day then. An enormous Oak tree that has grown from a teeny tiny seed.

Yes I do! When my brother was young he was told he'd never walk again due to his severe rheumatoid arthritis and spina bifida. I can remember when he was in a wheelchair for a time. But needless to say, he hasn't been in a wheelchair since elementary age and he is now 41.

Also, my first cousin was told she wouldn't get the chance to outgrow the whole in her heart. That she would not live half way through her elementary years. She is now going to college.


My former pastor's wife had been on heart medication for over a decade. Finally, it came down to having to need a stint. When the doctors went in to insert it, they could not find anything at all wrong with her heart. They came out of the operating room directly to where her husband and me and my sister were waiting only to hear him say and acknowledge that GOD had miraculously healed her since the last visit. He said she will no longer have to take any kind of heart medications whatsoever, much less need a stint.


Those are just the three that comes to mind right now. Miracles still happen every day!
