I know where you're coming from AZ!! Same here. I wonder WHY
men/women even bother to take the time to fill in all the information and then don't try to connect with anyone and ignore emails. Especially the ones within my own area. I find that pretty odd, myself. Maybe they think I'm too upfront and too picky. If that's the case, fine, don't write or reply!! 
It's not 'the site', it's the people who are on it.
